- Must be at least 18 years old to enter.
- Perch fees are due with pigeons. No exceptions.
- Perch fee is $30 per bird upfront.
- No limit on birds entered.
- Accepting birds from February 15th until May 15th. Replacements until June15th.
- All birds will be vaccinated for PMV and Salmonella.
- 9th and 10th flights pulled.
- The race entry fee is $450 per bird ($100 Perch Fee + $350 going to capital prizes).
- Entry fees are due 5 calendar days after the release of the 125-mile qualifying training toss.
- If your entry fee is paid and the bird does not make it to the first race, your entry fee will be refunded.
- Birds whose entry fee is not paid for on time will become the property of Franco's Classic.
- There will be 4 races from the North 150 miles, 200 miles, 250 miles, and 330 miles.
- Live clocking by Wincompanion.
- On 330 Mile Race, all capital prizes will be paid on the first drop and then by clocking order.
- All ninth and tenth flights will be pulled.
- Loft Manager reserves the right to refuse entries.
- The Loft Manager will make all final decisions.
- Birds remain the property of the breeder. No buybacks. No auctions.
- All birds must be activated to remain eligible for the races.
- Average speed paid by the clock. Computed on Total Distance / Total Time.
- 15% of all prize funds will be withheld for expenses.
- Time out for darkness – 30 minutes after sunset till 30 minutes before sunrise.
- Race dates and distances are subject to change.
- A completed W-9 form will be required for all winnings of $600 or more!
- Only one check will be written out per partnership or syndicate.
- Birds not claimed within two weeks or arrive after two weeks of the last race will become the property of Franco's Classic.
- Birds will be returned at the rate of 1 bird $70, 2 birds $85, 3 birds $100.
- Loft visits are by appointment only and you may only view inside the loft. No handling of any birds!
- The loft capacity is 1,000 birds.
